Daniel Bohman

BACKGROUND: I started my first business, Energy Concepts, in 1976, and while I have been involved in a half a dozen other small business start-ups over the years, the bulk of my career has been spent developing remote operations and assisting customers in the expansion and startup of Chip Fabrication Plants, for Applied Materials, a Fortune 500 company in the semiconductor industry. Over the last 30 years I have had the unique opportunity to both be involved in Applied Materials as it grew from ~600 to over 20,000 employees while helping a number of different businesses to start to grow. I received my Bachelors in Business Administration from Florida Metropolitan University and most recently my Masters in the Management of Science and Technology from Oregon Health & Science University in 2004. The last several years of my corporate career were spent turning around troubled organizations and projects that were failing to meet corporate or customer expectations. Today in addition to being the owner of Practical Business Concepts, I am an active member of both the Organization for Entrepreneurial Development (OED) and the Service Corps Of Retired Executives (SCORE).
