This Privacy Policy describes how 7 Stage Advisors (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal information of visitors to our website, 7stageadvisors.com (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting corporate and individual client privacy in strict accordance with modern data protection regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

1. Notice at Collection: Information We Collect and Why

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected, and may continue to collect, the following categories of personal information from visitors seeking business growth, analysis, or strategic coaching services:

  • Identifiers: Name, professional email address, company name, phone number, and business metrics (only when explicitly submitted through our Free Business Analysis forms or advisory contact fields).
  • Business Self-Assessment Information: When you use the Business DISCoverY Wheel on our Business Analysis page, we collect your scores for eight areas of your business, your written answers (for example, how you would describe “the ride”), and, if you choose to provide them, your industry, state, number of employees (as a range), and annual revenue (as a range).
  • Business Analysis Session Information: If you take part in a Business Analysis session with one of our advisors, we record the information discussed and entered during the session, which may include your company details, contact information, scores, frustrations and goals, estimates of what business problems may be costing you and the potential value of solving them, notes, and suggested next steps.
  • Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: IP address, operating system, browser configuration, device indicators, and behavior timelines detailing your interactions with our Site.
  • Geolocation Data: Broad geographic location derived dynamically via network IP data.

Our Sources of Collection

We collect data provided voluntarily by you when engaging with our coaching frameworks, assessments, and advisory sessions, as well as automatic network-level telemetry data gathered natively via integrated scripting, cookie arrays, and server-side compliance tags.

Business or Commercial Purposes for Processing Data

  • To monitor, report, and continuously optimize website engagement through Google Analytics and the MonsterInsights platform dashboard.
  • To coordinate discovery calls and consultation appointments using the embedded Calendly scheduling environment.
  • To prepare for and deliver complimentary calls, Business Analysis sessions, and advisory services, including your Business Analysis report.
  • To produce aggregated, de-identified research and benchmarks about how businesses perform (see Section 1A).
  • To safe-guard conversion pipelines and filter dangerous bot traffic using Google reCAPTCHA.
  • To host and display case studies and methodology documentation through third-party video frames like YouTube or Vimeo.

1A. The Business DISCoverY Wheel and Business Analysis Sessions

How We Use Your Assessment

When you complete the Business DISCoverY Wheel and submit your name and email, we use your answers to:

  • prepare your advisor for your complimentary call and personalize the conversation;
  • contact you about your results and the services you asked about; and
  • improve our assessment tools and coaching programs.

Information from a Business Analysis session is used to prepare your Business Analysis report and recommendations, and to deliver the advisory services you request.

Research and Aggregated Insights

We combine assessment and session results across many businesses to produce research and benchmarks, such as an annual study of how businesses score across the eight areas. These insights are published only in aggregated, de-identified form. We never publish your name, your company’s name, or any information that could reasonably identify you or your business without your express written permission.

Where Your Assessment Is Stored

Your submitted assessment is stored in a secure Google Workspace account controlled by 7 Stage Advisors, and our team receives an email notification so an advisor can follow up. Access is limited to 7 Stage Advisors personnel and authorized assistants who need it to serve you.

Booking Your Call

When you choose a time for your call, our scheduling provider, Calendly, opens on the page. To save you time, your name and email are passed to Calendly to pre-fill the booking form. Calendly processes your booking under its own privacy policy.

Information Saved in Your Browser

So you do not lose your progress, the Business DISCoverY Wheel saves your answers in your own browser’s local storage on your device. This information stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is not used for tracking or advertising. It is automatically cleared after 30 days, and you can clear it at any time by selecting “Start a new assessment” or by clearing your browser’s site data.

2. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information

7 Stage Advisors does not trade or sell consumer data lists for financial profit. However, our use of essential third-party analytical features to drive corporate growth strategy means data is securely processed by outside digital vendors under strict technical agreements. This may fall under California’s broad definition of “sharing” data for context-driven tracking loops.

Over the past 12 months, technical tracking data has been safely shared with the following primary networks:

  • Analytics & Data Infrastructure: Google LLC (Google Analytics / Google Maps / Google Fonts).
  • Data Storage & Communications: Google LLC (Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Apps Script, and Gmail), used to store submitted assessments and notify our team.
  • Operational Partners: Calendly LLC (Integrated Appointment Pipelines), which receives your name and email to pre-fill your booking.
  • Security Services: Google LLC (reCAPTCHA Spam Prevention).
  • Content Delivery: Cloudflare (cdnjs), which delivers software used to generate PDF reports on our session page. No assessment data is sent to Cloudflare.
  • Integrated Media Modules: YouTube, Vimeo, PayPal payment layers, and ShareThis widget engines.

3. Data Retention Framework

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Business self-assessments and session records: kept for up to five (5) years from the date of submission so we can serve you and compare results over time, after which they are deleted or permanently de-identified.
  • Aggregated, de-identified research data: may be kept indefinitely, because it can no longer identify you or your business.
  • Information saved in your browser: cleared automatically after 30 days.
  • Analytics data: kept according to the retention settings of our analytics providers, and phased down upon standard script expiration dates.

You may ask us to delete your information sooner at any time using the contact details in Section 5.

4. Your Statutory California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California business owners and consumer entities hold designated structural controls under active data privacy laws:

  • Right to Disclosed Records: The right to obtain details on exactly what data clusters we cataloged, where it originated, and which vendors received data handoffs over the previous 12 months.
  • Right to Permanent Removal: The right to request the complete deletion of personal informational logs, barring operational or compliance legal exceptions.
  • Right to Systematic Correction: The right to request structural updates to inaccurate business profile files held on our systems.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Data Tracking/Sharing: The right to block behavioral sharing routines. This preference is honored immediately through our live Cookie Control Banner or via standard browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) network requests.
  • Right to Protection Against Discrimination: We fiercely protect client rights and will never modify service tiers or consulting fee scales based on individual data choices.

5. Exercising Rights & Privacy Verification

To launch a data audit, request modification, or process a complete deletion order, please forward a verification request to our corporate support pipeline:

To request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your Business DISCoverY Wheel or Business Analysis information, email us from the address you used to submit it so we can verify your request.

To change cookie allowances or pause tracking pixels on this browser immediately, utilize the persistent Manage Consent button built directly into the website’s footer infrastructure.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on our Site.
